Although this isn’t a major price cut, it’s still good news for gamers who are hoping for graphics card prices to normalize. In recent times, the high demand from both gamers and speculators has caused the prices of several NVIDIA graphics cards to soar well above the official suggested retail price.
For instance, the price of the RTX 5090 was observed to skyrocket to well over $3000.
Similarly, the RTX 5070 Ti, which some initially expected to be priced around $750, was seen marked up significantly by certain retailers, reaching over $1200.
