These conditions are notably characterized by high inflation rates and fluctuating adverse exchange rates.
Consequently, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has made a tough decision.
This decision is to raise the recommended retail price (RRP) for the PlayStation 5 (PS5) console.
This price adjustment will specifically impact select markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), as well as Australia and New Zealand.
For consumers in these regions, this means an increased cost to purchase a new PS5 console.
