In the latest episode of the AnsweRED podcast, Senior PR Manager Pawel Burza, Game Director Sebastian Kalemba, Environment Art Director Michal Janiszewski, and Engineering Lead Jan Hermanowicz came together to delve into the intricate process of building the game’s world.

Discussing their approach to game world creation, Jan Hermanowicz stressed the importance of maintaining internal consistency at every stage of development, highlighting its role in crafting a truly compelling game world.
Adding to this point, Michal Janiszewski elaborated on their team’s primary goal when designing these virtual spaces: to allow players to become instantly immersed. He explained that this deep level of engagement requires that all elements within the game environment are seamlessly integrated. Consequently, aspects such as environmental design, character development, and scene layout must function together as a single, cohesive unit. He firmly reiterated that “Every element must be highly coordinated.”
Janiszewski further emphasized another key principle guiding their work, stating, “For us, it is crucial that players experience the most realistic game world possible.”

He added: “We have specialized development tools that we provide to our game world construction team. These tools not only accelerate development but also make it much easier to build the game world.”
