Developer and publisher Chaf has regrettably announced the immediate discontinuation of their recent PvPvE combat game, VELEV. This decision comes shortly after the game launched into Early Access on April 9. Since its debut, VELEV has encountered mixed reactions from players.

The game offered a unique experience, immersing players in a hidden world where cutting-edge technology intertwined with the raw power of nature. Within this setting, players could undertake various missions, engage in battles against challenging monsters, and work to uncover the world’s concealed truths. A core part of the experience was its intense PvPvE combat system, demanding strategic teamwork and offering ongoing character development opportunities.

However, the development team shared that they have been unable to secure the necessary funding required to continue enhancing the game and bring it to its full potential. Consequently, the difficult decision was made to halt all further development and cease sales of VELEV effectively immediately.

For all players who supported the project by purchasing the game during its Early Access phase, Chaf has confirmed that a full refund will be issued. Looking ahead, the developer intends to release the foundational elements of the game, such as its core assets and framework, as a free template, potentially allowing the community or other developers to explore its structure.
